Italian Sweet Basil Chicken Sausages and Spinach and Feta Cheese Chicken Sausage Cooked in 30 Minutes

Feeling lazy about cooking dinner? I’ve been there too! But thanks to my VitaClay cooker, any special dish is simply easy to cook- I never called for takeouts anymore! This recipe is one of my favorites. It’s satisfyingly sweet, cheesy, delicious and easy to cook; in just 30 minutes, dinner is ready for everyone! Say cheese!

Ingredients:
  • 4 of sausages of your choices ( I bought fresh ones - 2 of each Italian sweet basil chicken and spinach feta cheese chicken)
  • 2 onions, cut in wedges
  • 2 cups organic Sauerkraut
  • 1/2 cup broth or water

Directions:
1. Add 1/2 cup water or broth
2. Add Sauerkraut in a pot and mix well.
3. Add all sausages.
4. Set on “Stew” to cook for 30 minutes.
5. While cooking sausages, sauté the onion with oil in a saucepan until translucent.
6. In the last 5 minutes of cooking sausages, transfer the mixer of sautéed onion and sauerkraut to your Clay pot and stir well. Let it continue to cook for the rest of the time until sausages are cooked through.
Enjoy!
