Did you know how easy it is to poach a 4 lbs chicken in VitaClay Pot in just an hour? Guaranteed tenderness and juicier results!
Here is how-
1. Add a 4 lbs bird in your VitaClay;
2. Rub with your favorite seasoning (I used lemon garlic Basil cilantro sea salt pepper and 1 lemon juice and its skin too along with a splash of dry white wine, total liquid makes up a half cup).
3. Set on stew (VM7900-8 only) to cook for 1 hour.
4. Brown the top (optional): set in oven at 500 F, sprinkle paprika and coat butter on chicken top. Brown it in oven for 8 minutes!
Enjoy tender juicy bird with the sauce saved from poached chicken juice! Mmmmnn, soooooo good!
If you cook just seasoned chicken breast, add a layer of water or cooking wine and set to cook for 15 to 20 minutes only depending on how much you put it in... (Note: if you choose VM7800-5 cooker, add 2 cups liquid in)
