Ingredients

4 servings

  • 3 cups (570 g) BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup water or broth for VM7900 or VF7700, or 3 cups water for VM7800
  • ¼ cup (55 g) brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 3 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 3 lb (1.3 kg) baby back pork rib salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a small bowl
  2. Cut ribs in half and season with salt and pepper 
  3. Place Ribs in Vita Clay Bowl
  4. Pour mixture over Ribs
  5. Cover with clay lid and close the cooker
  6. Set on “Stew” to cook for 2 hours or until tender or Slow for 2 hours
  7. (Optional) To thicken the BBQ sauce, take cooked ribs out, open the cooker cover to let it continue to cook for 20 minutes or until the sauce is thicken. Bring cooked ribs back in the thicken sauce to simmer to 5 minutes.
