Orange Silicon Steam Valve for VF7700-6 and VF7700-8

Unfortunately the original small silicon steam valve has been upgraded on newer 8 quart models. The new large valve will not function on the older models. I may need to order an entire steam release assembly, but I am unsure if that will work with the older models?

I sought support to order the part i needed, when I ordered it seemed the right part but when I got it it was only the silicon valve. I spend almost 23 dollars and i cannot use that part. I contacted support and have not heard anything yet. I believe the shipping is overpriced. A silicone seal one inch long came.in a 16.inch envelope and shipped by UPS which made the shipping so high. I needed the whole plastic piece and the silicone piece, but i am.afraid to reorder or even return it because I will lose more.money. i would just have to use the Vitaclay without that valve.
