Stress-Relieving, Nourishing Turkey Bone Broth with Astragalus in VitaClay's Best Soup Maker

soup pressure cooker

After a stressful week of traveling and working, I added astragalus to boost my immune system and heal my tired heart by enhancing my “chi” flow. Astragalus is packed with health benefits and is known for its immune-boosting, anti-aging, and anti-inflammatory effects. It is considered to be helpful in prolonging life and is used to treat fatigue, allergies, and the common cold. It's also known to be effective against heart disease, diabetes, and other conditions. I can’t wait to get back on my nourishing routine again!  Instead of using a pressure cooker, try our VitaClay cooker which will preserve the nutrients that regular pressure cookers lose to high heat. This is an healthy crockpot recipe that you can let sit for enhanced flavor. Try it for yourself!

Ingredients:

  • turkey back bones,
  • 2 slices of astragalus,
  • splash of white wine,
  • leeks, ginger, clovers or any flavor you would like to add
  • water

Directions:
1. Add all ingredients in your clay pot and fill up water.
2. Set on soup or slow for 2-3 hours.
3. Let it sit in warm overnight to enrich the broth (optional). Enjoy 2 cups a day.
