Purple cabbage helps relieve muscle soreness. Lactic acid is present in red cabbage. This is one of the chemicals that can help in the treatment of muscle stiffness and therefore relieve the pain. The lactic acid, however, releases once you cook the red cabbage. This treatment of muscle pain is possible only when you eat cooked red cabbage in the meals.

Purple cabbage is a nutrient-rich vegetable linked to a variety of health benefits. These include reduced inflammation, a healthier heart, stronger bones, improved gut and brain functions, and perhaps even a lower risk of certain cancers.

Ingredients

  • a half head of purpled┬ácabbage, chopped in inches┬álength
  • 4-5 beets, trimmed and chopped
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 -1/2 cup apple cider vinegar or to your taste
  • 2-3 table spoon olive oil
  • a pinch of┬áHimalaya┬ápink salt

Directions

Add all in your vitaclay and set on "stew" or "fast" to cook for 20-30 minutes.

Note: If you cook with VM7800 models, double the liquid amount for 4 cups of combined apple cider vinegar and water.
