This refreshing smoothie is great while eating lots of fresh nutrient-dense summer produce containing high C vitamin, A, etc like tomatoes, carrots, onions is important that also prepares us going through cold seasons, I am still keeping up with lemon ginger turmeric water almost daily for my hydration, energy and immune system needs.
Every time, when I pick lemons from my backyard lemon tree, I can feel the lemon oil coming out of the skin which I believe it has the peak nutrient, it will be dried out after a few days. Lemon peel contains high amounts of Vitamin C and calcium and thus helps in improving and maintaining bone health. Lemon peel is great to soothe the itchy throat and dry cough too! My point is to eat as fresh as you can to get the most out of nutrient-dense fruits or veggies. We can’t grow all these by ourselves, what about trying to get these from the farmers’ market? What do you do to keep you staying hydrated, and maintaining your immune system?
