Fall-Off-The-Bone Chicken in VitaClay

Believe or not, this delicious tender chicken made in VitaClay only in ONE Hour, about the same amount of total time to cook in an Instant Pot!

  • 1 whole – 4 lb. organic free range chicken
  • 1 Tbsp. Organic Virgin Coconut Oil
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 cup homemade Bone Broth (Chicken) or water
  • 1 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • 6 cloves garlic, peeled
  1. In a small bowl, combine paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper. Rub seasoning over outside of the bird.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet. Add chicken, breast side down and cook 6-7 minutes.
  3. Transfer the chicken in your Clay pot and add broth, lemon juice and garlic cloves.
  4. Cook on Soup or Stew setting for 1 hour.
  5. Remove from the cooker and let stand for 5 minutes before carving.
