Energy Boost and Stress Relief with Astragalus

Known as one of the most famous Chinese herbal tonics, this hearty root is ideal for immune boosting, anti-aging and heal tired heart. Western herbalists call this root an adaptogen, which means it helps to bring the body back into balance and to ward off effects of every-day physiological stressors.* The mild sweet taste works well alone, or with other medicinal herbs, prepared in soups or teas. 

How to eat astragalus?

Here is another quick and easy herbal tea tonic. This nourishing tea ingredients help tonify both qi and blood to enhance your energy chi, beauty and help you lose weight!

Ingredients

  • 10-15 grams of astragalus
  • 5 jujubes, core removed
  • 5 grams Goji berries
  • 4-8 cups clean water

Directions:

Add all in your vitaclay pot;
Set on "Stew" brew and simmer in your vitaclay clay pot for 30 minutes on stew or fast setting.

Note:

1. If you have a “cold” body, add 3 slices of ginger;
2. If you have inflammation with Astragalus, reduce it to 10 gram and add 3 gram honeysuckle.
3. Consult your doctor if you have health conditions or are pregnant.
4. Do not take this during mensural periods.
