Tasty Lemon Basil Shrimp

Best ever fuss-free summertime dinner, lemon garlic basil shrimp in 20 minutes- It was soooooooo yummy! I got to make this again soon!

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 Fresno chiles, coarsely chopped (optional, if you don’t prefer spicy)
  • 6 garlic cloves, smashed
  • ¼ cup of sugar
  • 4 oz chicken broth or water
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • 4 Tbsp. Butter or grapeseed oil, divided
  • 1 lb. large shrimp, peeled, deveined
  • 2 cups basil leaves (about 1 bunch)
  • 1-2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 lemon juice

DIRECTIONS
1. Add all ingredients except basil leaves in your clay pot.
2. Set on the stew to cook for 20 minutes.
3. At 15 minutes of cooking or When shrimps turn to pink, add basil leaves and stir well.

Serve with rice. Enjoy!
