BOWTIES AND BROCCOLI

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. pasta 
  • 1 lb. frozen broccoli florets 
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 3 Tbsp grated parmesan 
  • Salt to taste 
  • Freshly cracked pepper and crushed red pepper to taste 

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients and 3 cups water except parmesan, broccoli, pepper and red pepper in your vita clay pot. 
  2. Set on Stew or Fast to cook in your clay pot for 20-30 minute.
  3. At the last 10 minutes to finish cooking, add broccoli and continue to cook unitl pasta is tender while broccoli retains crispy color. 
  4. Add the Parmesan, salt, freshly cracked pepper, and red pepper flakes, then toss to coat again. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Serve immediately.
