Butternut Squash Bisque Recipe

Why have a change over your usual diet (if you're an omnivore). Or if you're already one with mother nature, enjoy this Bisque inspired vegetarian dish courtesy of your Vitaclay unit!

Ingredients

  • 1 small butternut squash
  • 2 cups broth
  • 1 small onion, chopped and sauteed in 4 T of butter (saute optional)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • ¼ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ⅛ tsp cinnamon
  • ⅛ tsp cayenne pepper
  • Sea salt to taste

Directions:

  1. Load all ingredients into personal slow cooker, stir.
  2. Cook for 1-2 hours
  3. Add milk or cream if desired and top with sour cream to serve.
