Pepper ribs with taros braised in vitaclay for 2 hours. Full of flavor and nutrition!
Taro roots nourish the digestive system, Lungs, Large Intestine, improved heart health, reduce oxidative stress. Taro contains a mucus protein which may improve immune system, in tcm, taro detoxify, and prevent from certain tumor and cancer growth.
Ingredients:
Rib seasoning, I used dried mustard leaves
A dash of cooking wine
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
3 tablespoons soy sauce (optional)
10 sweet chili peppers, seeded
4 small taro roots, peeled and cut in cubes
1/2 cup leaks
Mashed garlic
Directions:
1. Add 1/2 cup water (you may substitute it with wine vinegar and soy sauce total 1/2 cup clear liquid, if you use 6 qt model 7800, then add 4 cups additional water)
2. Set on stew or slow setting on your vitaclay for 2 hours.
