Purslane is packed with rich nutrients and a weed that can grow in your background. You can find them growing wild in your flower and vegetable gardens, as well as in cracks in your sidewalk or driveway. Purslane grows in just about any soil, from a rich, fertile soil, to dry, rocky soils. It is drought tolerant.
Purslane has slightly sour or salty taste. You may eat it as salad or combine with with rice to make delicious one pot meal. Adding a few drops of olive oil, seasonings or salt and a cup of broth or water to cook on stew for 20 minutes. Makes it delicious #vegetarianfood #onepot #lunch or #dinner .
