One Pot Pasta with Home-Made Garlic White Sauce: Fast and Delicious!

One Pot Pasta with Home-Made Garlic White Sauce: Fast and Delicious!

Pasta has always been a favorite of mine.

Especially the sauces that come with them. I really love red sauce as well as white sauce, but since I've been more careful about eating organic foods I've had trouble finding a good quality pre-made white sauce.

I was a little bit intimidated against making my own. After all, I just didn't know how.I visited my cousin and she just threw together a creamy, delicious Alfredo sauce with what she had on hand—it only took minutes and it was amazing!

After that I was convinced that nothing is too difficult as long as you have the right attitude.

The right attitude and Google.

After I learned to make an easy white sauce, I started experimenting, both with different flavors and different methods of making it.And of course, like with everything else, I adapted it into a one-pot meal that I could make in VitaClay.

Because VitaClay just makes everything easier (and more delicious)! So give it a try! It's easy and delicious—it'll be your go-to last minute meal from now on!

Ingredients:

  • 2 c broth
  • 1 c whole milk
  • 2 T butter (organic or grass-fed has the most nutrients)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 8 oz pasta (I like this gluten free one)
  • ¼ c freshly grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 T chopped parsley leaves for garnish (optional)

Ingredients:

  1. Add everything except Parmesan to clay pot
  2. Close, seal and cook on “stew” setting for 20 minutes
  3. Open the pot and stir in the Parmesan, which will thicken the sauce
  4. Serve right away, garnishing with parsley if desired
