Some dinners don’t need a long ingredient list to be satisfying. This Chicken & Gravy is all about tender chicken cooked in a rich, creamy gravy with just a handful of simple ingredients.

Serve it over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles for an easy family dinner that feels warm, comforting, and homemade.

Chicken & Gravy Recipe

Serves: 4–6
Prep time: 10 minutes
VitaClay cooking time: Approximately 2 hours, or until the chicken is fully cooked and tender

Ingredients

  • 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can unsalted cream of chicken soup
  • 2 (0.87 oz) envelopes chicken gravy mix
  • ½ cup water
  • Mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles, for serving

Directions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the VitaClay Nourishing Pot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, chicken gravy mix, and water until combined.
  3. Pour the mixture evenly over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook in the VitaClay Nourishing Pot until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  5. Shred the chicken and stir it back into the creamy gravy.
  6. Serve warm over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles.
