Bitter melon/gourd is known to be one of the best natural blood purifiers. Drinking bitter melon tea is great for people with diabetes, slow metabolism, high cholesterol levels, a weak immune system, digestive issues, or a risk of cancer.  With possibly high levels of ascorbic acid, bitter melon tea can be very helpful for stimulating the immune system. The anti-bilious and sedative properties of bitter melon / gourd juice help in promoting good internal health and thereby reduce stress and blood pressure.

Bitter melon cools down the internal heat and relief summer heat, eliminate inflammation, nourish blood and promoting Qi circulation, “tonify” kidney and liver and purify eyes. It helps ward off summer sluggishness.
