A lot of our customers were super excited when we came out with a bigger VitaClay: a 6 quart stock pot that could make larger batches of broth, stock, yogurt, and other batch meals to freeze for the week, like soups and stews. And it is pretty great!
We want you to get the best use out of your VitaClay Stock Pot and keep it in great condition for as long as possible. So we’ve made up a cooking chart to give you quick and easy access to the cooking times for different dishes.
The stock pot is a bit different from our multi-cookers, in that it doesn’t seal--so it is easier for liquid to evaporate out of it. For this reason, we don’t recommend making low-liquid dishes, such as roasts, or overly starchy dishes, such as oatmeal or potatoes. The stock pot is best utilized as… a stock pot.
It’s great for making large batches of bone broth, veggie stock, soups and stews--anything with a large liquid-to-food ratio.
Take note of this handy stock pot cooking chart whenever you want to make a new dish in the VitaClay Stock Pot, and we know you’ll be enjoying it for years to come!
