It has so many valuable uses! Lemon peel helps digestion, soothes dry throat or cough or lungs, and relieves stress! I sometimes blend lemon along the peel or and chop the peel after squeezing the juice out. Mixed it with raw unfulfilled honey. OMG, it was so delicious! I had a tablespoon last night before bed, I felt so well-rested this morning.
It’s is a great source of calcium and Vitamin C, it is, therefore, excellent for bone health and associated issues. Bioflavonoids present in it help in keeping stress at bay and eliminating toxins from the body. Lemon peel is also good for heart health and regulating cholesterol. It is enriched with pectin which facilities weight loss.
