I used it to make Asian white rice and Asian rice porridge, great taste, great outcome. Safe, no more standing next to the stove to watch fire for making porridge. Automatically warms after it's done cooking, easy to clean, no more worry about the pot getting scratch and such. The clay pot is not heavy. I can't wait to use it to make Chinese soup and brown rice. The clay pot also brought out the flavor as it promised. Picky eaters would notice.
