Suitable for ALL VitaClay Models!
I love winter break. The hurry and bustle and stress of Christmas is over and now we can just lounge around the house by the fire and sip hot chocolate while binge watching our favorite holiday movies.
One Christmas Eve when I had some family come over, they showed me a short-cut to home-made hot chocolate. They brought over the "Abuelita" chocolate discs that you can buy pretty much anywhere. I'd actually bought them before but didn't really know what to do with it.
Just the smell is amazing: chocolate, cinnamon, and a hint of spice. They did it over the stove-top, but I quickly adapted the whole process to VitaClay because VitaClay makes everything better and easier! So here's the lowdown on the short-cut to home-made hot chocolate that you can sip on all day long ladled directly from your clay pot.
Abuelita Hot Chocolate in VitaClay:
The "warm" setting is a default that engages after each cooking cycle on the 7700-7900 models. Older models can engage the warm setting by pressing "warm." If your model does not accommodate this, set the cooker for 10 minutes on "soup," and it will begin to warm up and then the cooking cycle will end, defaulting to warm.
