Butternut Squash Oatmeal In 30 Minutes with VitaClay Slow Cooker-Amazing Breakfast Maker

Wake up with a healthy, delish, energy-filled breakfast with this Vitamins and Minerals-enriched butternut squash oatmeal recipe. It’s also packed with fiber and antioxidants and is low in calories for a light feel and loaded energy to get you going for the workday! You can prepare this recipe before going to bed-just set the delay timer to cook in the morning just in time before you get going for the day. 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup steel-cut oatmeal
  • 2 cups cubed butternut squash
  • 5 cups water
  • 1 strip of Astragalus

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients in your clay pot.
  2. Set to delay to cook in the morning at 6 am. Or 5 am
  3. Set on stew or soup for 30 minutes or 1 hour
  4. Wake up 8 hours later, discard astragalus, stir in milk and drizzle a tablespoon Gogi berry (optional) and serve warm.
