This pot is the perfect amount for one person, to make the best nourishing rice congee that can save people's lives.
I went through the worst flu, and my body was totally cold, could not retain water. I tried cooking life saving congee in every way possible, which is must cook the rice at a point that the rice gets dissolved. After all the trials, this congee maker was the ONLY one that made it so effortless. I wash 1/2 cup of rice at night, add water to 8/10 of the pot (basically ratio of 1 part of rice to 10 parts of water) then leave it on HIGH. Rice cooked this way carries the CHI of the heat, and by ingesting the rice soup from this way of cooking, while it is still very warm, it brings the chi back to the tummy. I was finally able to start retaining food. And as my stomach started recovering, I would add eggs in the morning to the hot pot, and it will become the most delicious soft egg after just a few minutes of getting cooked, to accompany with my food. This is how I was able to save myself from I was the weakest. I sincerely hope you guys can keep selling this pot. I just offered it to a old lady who was in hospital due to gastrointestinal issues. I gave it to her so she can cook her own congee everyday in the rehab. It saved her too.
