Easy, Comforting Wonton Soup in Bone Broth

Easy, Comforting Wonton Soup in Bone Broth

Bone broth keeps my positive mood in check! I used my weekly bone broth stock made in my VitaClay. Bone broth helps me stay positive throughout the pandemic uncertainty time!

Gut Health Affects our Mood. Some research suggests that eating a healthy, balanced diet that avoids inflammation-inducing foods can prevent or treat depression. Bone broth (or stock) is fabulous for healing intestinal permeability. It contains collagen, which nourishes the intestinal lining and reduces inflammation. Plus, it’s easy for a damaged gut to digest and reap the benefits of its protein and minerals.

Ingredients:

  • 20-30 wontons
  • 2 qt chicken or bone broth
  • 1/2 cup Basil leaves
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil or olive oil
  • Salt pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Add bone broth in your VitaClay.
  2. Set on stew or fast to cook for 30 minutes.
  3. About 10-15 minutes when broth reaches to a boil, add wontons and cover the lids. Continue to cook for about 6-10 minutes. Frequently check if wontons is cooked through but not overly cooked.
  4. Divide soup in a few bowls, garnish with green onion or basil and sesame oil. Enjoy!
