Spicy Flavorful One Pot Thai Basil Chicken Served on Sticky Rice

Spicy flavorful Thai Basil chicken served over sticky rice, made in 30 minutes in VitaClay! Basil is amazing! INGREDIENTS:

Thai chicken ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce, or as needed
  • 2 teaspoons fish sauce
  • 1 -2 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 1 pound skinless, boneless chicken thighs, coarsely chopped
  • ¼ cup sliced shallots
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons minced Thai chilies, Serrano, or other hot pepper
  • 1 cup very thinly sliced fresh basil leaves
To cook rice:
  • 2 cups uncooked sushi or stick rice
  • 2 cups water 
DIRECTIONS:
  1. Add rice and water in your vitaclay rice cooker. Set on white rice cooking or sweet rice cooking.
  2. In the meantime, add the Thai chicken ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix the ingredients well combined.
  3. When you hear the sound of beep, add the chicken mixer on top of the rice and cover the cooker letting it continue to cook through the cycle and sit in WARM or additional 15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
