Ingredients

  • 1 lb thick bacon diced
  • 1 large onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2/3 cup uncooked long-grain rice
  • 6-8 cups cabbage chopped
  • 1 28 ounce can diced tomatoes
  • 1 10 oz can tomato soup
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 5-6 cups beef broth
  • 1 1/2 cups V8 or other vegetable juice
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp and drain on paper towels.
  2. Put beef and add all ingredients (except bacon) to your VitaClay and stir to combine. Set on “Soup” or "Fast" for 1-2 hours.
  3. Stir in half of the cooked bacon.
  4. Spoon into bowls, top with remaining bacon and parsley.
