Note: a minimum half cup of water is needed in VM7900 or VF7700 models. Maximum cooking time is 20-30 minutes! If you choose 7800 models, minimum water amount is 3 cups water and minimum food volume is 1/4 of the pot. Set on fast to cook for 20-30 minutes, set up your timer for 20 minutes to check for doneness as needed. The key is to cook much shorter time. Consider extra 20 minutes heating to your foods after the desired time reached.
