Try this wonderful Slow Cooker Mediterranean Turkey recipe courtesy of us! Whether you will bring this to your next get-together or late dinner, this turkey is sure to make your taste buds gobble with joy!
1 Large onion
½ cup pitted kalamata olives
½ cup julien-cut oil packed sum dried tomato halves (drained)
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 teaspoon Greek seasoning (McCormick makes a Greek mix)
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
1 4-pound turkey breast (fat trimmed off)
½ cup of fat-free low-sodium chicken broth at room temperature
3 tablespoons of flour
Combine onion, olives, tomato, garlic, Greek seasoning, salt, pepper, and ¼ cup of room temperature chicken broth in your Vita-clay slow cooker
Add the turkey breast and cook on the “Stew” setting for 2 hours
Combine ¼ cup of room temperature chicken broth and flour in a small mixing bowl. Mix well until you get a smooth consistency
Add mixture to your slow cooker, cover and cook for an additional 15 minutes to thicken sauce.
